The area around this pond was cut back and cleared before work started on a redesign of the paved areas.

A small greenhouse was relocated on the perimeter of the pond in a sunny aspect and a dry-stone wall built to mark the edge of the property.

 

​Paving was laid continuing the theme in the rest of the garden with areas of gravel laid alongside pebbled areas, and a selection of hardy shrubs planted in a contrasting purple and red theme.
