This new self-build in Slackbuie has a large south-facing garden, sloping towards the rear of the house.

 

The integrated design utilises gabion walls to terrace the garden, topped with timber to form seating, and faced in stone to complement detailing on the house.

 

The garden itself has a formal aspect, with steps leading from the patio to the lawn, although with a more contemporary feel. Plants have been carefully chosen to suit this exposed and windy site.

 

It also has a playpark for the children incorporating slide, ground-level trampoline, bike track, playhouse and swings.
